Visit the Museums
Visit the Museum situated at Lisle Park Station to experience the nineteenth century Illinois. I took a walk around Beaubien Tavern, the railroad caboose of the 18th century, the tollhouse, and much more. Blacksmith classes are organized all throughout the year. If you want you can donate some money to the museum.
This covers an area of 680 hectares. It is a public garden of the city. There are hiking trails. I went biking along this trail. It is known to be the largest prairies which are restored in the Chicago area. Educational programs are organized for all groups and ages. It is open all throughout the year.
Jurica-Suchy Nature Museum
The Benedictine second floor has been dedicated to this museum. I came to learn that there were three monks who used to collect specimens for helping students. Thereafter, the specimens were collected and put inside the museum. Hence, it is open for public from Tuesday to Thursday.
Four Lakes Ski Hill
Do you like snowboarding or skiing? This is just the perfect place for you. I also explored the summer activities that it has to offer such as volleyball league and pool. You can rent ski and snowboard. Also, if you want, you can take lessons on snowboarding or skiing. It is open Monday to Friday during the season. It proved to be a fun experience.
